Support
Imagine a place in Cambodia where young athletes can train on full-sized courts, study between sessions, and grow into leaders both on and off the court.
That place is Playground Sen Sok Basketball Center — and while the vision is already in motion, what it becomes next depends on the support around it.
This is more than a basketball court. It’s a foundation for opportunity. A space where young people gain structure, discipline, and belief through sport. A place that can impact hundreds, then thousands, of lives — if built to its full potential.
We are inviting local businesses, organisations, and partners to be part of building something that matters.
Your support doesn’t just contribute to a facility — it activates it. From upgrading courts and equipment to creating study areas, recovery spaces, and community programs, every contribution directly improves the experience for the next generation. And in return, your brand becomes part of the daily environment — seen, trusted, and associated with positive impact.
This is a rare opportunity to position your business at the heart of youth sport and community development in Cambodia. Branding opportunities exist across courts, scoreboards, seating areas, and even entire sections of the venue — turning your support into long-term visibility in a high-engagement, high-footfall environment.
Together, we can build more than just a venue. We can build a home for basketball, a hub for development, and a platform for the future.
If you believe in supporting youth, sport, and community — now is the time to step in.

Help Support Cambodia’s First Student Athlete Basketball Center
Hi, I’m Fauzii Chan, founder of the Southeast Asia Junior Basketball League (SEAJBL). Basketball has taken me across Australia, Singapore, and now Cambodia, and throughout that journey I’ve seen how powerful sport can be when young people are given the right environment to grow. But I’ve also seen the opposite.
Cambodia has talent, passion, and many young people who want to play basketball. What Cambodia lacks is access.Across Phnom Penh and much of the country, full-sized indoor basketball courts are extremely limited. Most available courts are outdoor, undersized, or financially out of reach for young players who want to train regularly. At the same time, there is a shortage of:
- Structured youth basketball development programs
- Qualified basketball coaches and administrators
- Facilities designed specifically for young athletes
Because of this, Cambodia is currently ranked 153rd in the world by FIBA.
That ranking doesn’t reflect the potential I see every week working with young players.
It reflects missed opportunity.
Without facilities, there is no pathway.
Without pathways, talent is lost.
Building Cambodia’s First Student Athlete Basketball Academy
Through the Southeast Asia Junior Basketball League (SEAJBL), we are working to build Cambodia’s first Student Athlete Basketball Academy in Phnom Penh.
This purpose-built facility will become a national hub for youth basketball development in Cambodia.
But it will be much more than just a basketball court.
It will be a place where young people can grow as athletes, students, and leaders.
With your support, this academy will include:
Two Full-Sized Indoor Basketball Courts
- Year-round training regardless of weather
- Regulation surfaces for proper player development
- A safe and professional environment for youth sport
Structured Youth Basketball Programs
- Beginner basketball sessions for children under 12
- Weekly junior training programs
- Youth leagues and competitions to build real game experience
A Student-Athlete Learning Centre
Education will be just as important as sport.
The academy will include a tutoring and learning centre where players can study before or after training sessions.
This ensures young athletes stay focused on both academics and basketball.
Professional Training Equipment
The facility will include:
- Youth strength and conditioning resources
- Basketball training technology used internationally
- Modern player development equipment
These resources will help Cambodian athletes train at global standards.
A Community Hub for Basketball in Cambodia
This academy will also serve as a community basketball hub.
Schools, clubs, and local organisations will be able to use the facility for:
- Youth basketball training
- School competitions
- Community basketball events
- Coach education programs
For student-athletes travelling from outside Phnom Penh, the academy will also include supervised accommodation, creating a safe and supportive environment for youth pursuing sport and education.
Why Basketball Matters for Young People
Basketball is more than a game.
It teaches life skills that stay with young people forever:
Discipline. Teamwork. Confidence. Leadership. Resilience.
Right now, many Cambodian youth are excluded from sport simply because they lack access to facilities or structured programs.
This academy will change that.
With consistent training, quality coaching, and academic support, young people will have the opportunity to:
- Stay active and healthy
- Build confidence and leadership skills
- Access international student-athlete pathways
- Represent Cambodia proudly in the future
The Vision Behind SEAJBL
Through SEAJBL, we already operate youth basketball programs across Southeast Asia, focused on:
- Long-term athlete development
- Coach education and leadership
- Inclusive youth participation
- Sustainable community sports programs
Building Cambodia’s first Student Athlete Basketball Academy is the foundation needed to expand these opportunities nationwide.
It will help create a structured pathway for Cambodian basketball players for the first time.
